For as long as I can remember, I have had a love and passion for creating art. As a child, my earliest interests and abilities were in drawing, and I practiced whenever I could. Over the years, those passions and abilities progressed into a love for painting. I expanded my vision and gifting by using a variety of mediums including stenciling, tole painting, stage props, scenery backdrops, and eventually murals.

My first mural was for my daughter Kylie and was more of a fun project than anything else. Since I love the world of "whimsical", it was easy for me to paint the little girl on a swing that I had already pictured in my mind. The painting was done on her bedroom door and that project seemed to literally "open the door" for me to do additional murals. The other murals and decorative art pieces I progressively created in my own home brought great reviews and requests to do a number of private and commercial projects.

As an artist, one of the things I treasure the most is seeing the delight upon my clients’ faces as they watch their ideas and inspirations take shape and literally come to life! Whether it is a clients’ wall, a custom painted fireplace screen, a piece of furniture, a stage backdrop, or a table brimming with artistically designed food, people love great color, artistry and creativity.

Much of my artwork has been done in private residences. However, quite a few of my more recent murals can be seen at Fellowship of Believers Church in Sarasota, FL.

My understanding is that "every good and perfect gift is from God" (James 1:17). I love continuing to develop the gifts He has placed in me for my enjoyment and for the enjoyment of others.
